- This seminar research paper analyzes Claudia Rankine’s Citizen: An American Lyric through the Bakhtinian lens of dialogism and discourse and has received departmental honors at the University of Mary Washington.
The Sacrifice of a Scapegoat: The 1941 Pogrom in Jedwabne, Poland
- This research paper synthesized historical events into an evidence-based narrative that draws upon cultural contexts to articulate why the Jedwabne Pogrom occurred. This paper has been published in the Spring 2026 issue of Columns: UMW Humanities and Social Science Journal.

- The Aubade: The Aubade is the University of Mary Washington’s undergraduate literary arts magazine. As a staff member, I work with a team of peers to curate each semester’s issue to help our students’ creativity shine.
- Columns: Columns is the University of Mary Washington’s Humanities and Social Sciences Journal that publishes undergraduate interdisciplinary papers. As former editorial staff and now secretary, I not only maintain communication between authors and staff members, but also oversee the edits for multiple papers in Chicago Style.
- The Rappahannock Review: The Rappahannock Review is a literary journal from the University of Mary Washington’s Creative Writing Program that features authors from across the world. I served as the Lead Nonfiction Editor, whose duties include leading a 5-person team and reading over 70 pieces to select which pieces are contenders for the final issue.
